Catherine Garza comes to us from the Rio Grande Valley. Catherine is a graduate of Trinity University in San Antonio (Go Tigers!) where she earned a degree in communications and served on the Campus Board of Publications. She enjoys coming up with creative pitch ideas for her clients and finding ways to solve difficult problems. Catherine loves to write and says a “day writing media materials has been a good day”.
Catherine’s career began as an intern with the San Antonio Spurs where she worked with their charity, Silver & Black Gives Back and went on to work with a boutique public relations firm in San Antonio. There she developed her unique storytelling skills to garner positive publicity for clients within the hospitality, restaurant, consumer food, craft beer and spirits and commercial real estate industries. Catherine is dedicated to taking a creative approach to public relations through individualized conversations and innovative thinking. She has built experience in almost every aspect of public relations including writing, research skills, strategic communication, editing, social media, and graphic design.
At Culver Public Relations, Catherine will write media materials and lead the team in brainstorming to create ideas for activations and promotions. Away from work you can find her being walked by her best furry friend, Chili.
